 Verified I connected originally with Marie fifteen or so years ago when she had her own dog-walking business in San Francisco, and we've remained working together ever since! She's a real godsend. We've worked together for years and my only gripe is to lose her to the Pac Northwest! :) She still takes care of our animals here on the Mendocino Coast. She gives us peace of mind while we away, which is priceless. She is a true animal person and always has your pet's best interest in mind. She has amazing attention to detail and has been helpful over the years with other household projects. She is kind, knowledgeable, professional, punctual, and communicates promptly. Having someone you trust take care of your home and pets has been of paramount importance to us. Look no further than Marie. I cannot recommend her enough!

 recommends We left our dog Lulu with Marie for two nights while we were at the camp in the North Cascades and couldn't take her with us.  It was a great experience all around.  Marie texted and email us photos, went out of her way to meet up with us in a location closer to where we were camping, and took great care of Lulu!  We would definitely take Lulu back.  It was near the 4th of July and Lulu hates fireworks, and Marie let Lulu sleep in bed (spoiled dog, even better than home! :) ) and played her classical music to drown out the fireworks noise.  Awwww...so sweet!  Thanks, Marie, for taking great care of our furry friend!

 Verified Marie stayed at our home with her cattle dogs.  Our two senior dogs both had some medical issues in our absence and Marie went out of her way to assure their safety, comfort and well-being. We could not have asked for a kinder, more concerned, more competent individual to look after our "kids" while we were away. Her own two dogs are sweet and exceptionally well behaved, which in and of itself, gives you a realistic view of how your own dogs will fare under her care - very well to say the least.  Verified Marie at Kite Hill Canines is nothing short of amazing! Our dog LOVES her! He comes home every day so tired from walking and playing that he can barely keep his eyes open. For a terrier like him, that's quite a feat!  Marie is so personable, extremely flexible and cares so much about the dogs in her care. We trust her 100% with the most important thing in our lives- which says a lot.  Our dog is so happy with his walks that it makes it more than worth it.  Thanks Marie!

 Verified Marie, the owner of Kite Hill, is really great.  My very shy and timid dog, Tilda, really seems to like Marie.  My best friend was dog sitting Tilda few weeks ago and while she was taking Tilda on a walk she saw Marie in the park walking some other dogs.  I guess Tilda was very happy to see Marie, and Tilda is only usually happy to see me.  Tilda is more outgoing, enjoys playing fetch more, and really seems to come back happy after a day with Marie.  Kite Hill has really great rates too, and I think that Tilda is usually gone longer than an hour, sometimes an hour and a half, so you certainly get a great deal for what you pay.

 Verified Marie has helped Rodi develop over his first year of life and she's the best. When Rodi gets home from his play group he hops onto his sofa and naps til dinner. I would make a recommendation for her services to anyone looking to have the best. Big Dogs, Little Dogs, Dogs that crap a lot, small dogs, fats dogs, even dogs, with liver spots. We hired Marie to house-sit (and dog sit) several times this past year while my family and I were on vacation. She was recommended by dear friends, and we are so grateful. Marie is kind, professional and responsible. Our dogs love her and so do we! We were lucky to find her to care for our home & pets, it allowed for a stress-free vacation. Highly recommend Marie.

Marie is very capable and trustworthy. She looked after our ranch and fed 250 cows and 80 yearling heifers while we went on a two week vacation in February three years ago. She can operate large equipment and is very good with animals. She can also cook and keeps a clean house.

Hand her the keys and walk away knowing you’ll be leaving your home, pets, property, and peace of mind in the best hands. Marie has demonstrated numerous times under some pretty busy and or complicated situations of handling our home, homestead, pets, property, while assisting invalid, and an abundance of activity while we were away with the greatest of ease. And respectful of others property, neighbors, and other considerations. 5’s don’t do her justice. She’s more like an eleven on the scale.

The only person my dog loved more than me was Marie. And as any dog person knows, that’s the best approval you can get. She was our go-to person for just about anything pet or house sitting related for many years, and then when our son was born she began taking him for walks too. Besides being reliable, responsible and respectful Marie is just an awesome person all around. We miss her dearly since she’s moved and would hire her again in a heartbeat. We definitely recommend her for taking good care of your home and pets.
